2008 Summer SKIF-USA Seminar in Houston
Summer SKIF-USA Seminar 2008In June several Austin Shotokan Karate members participated in a 3-day SKIF-USA seminar in Houston at the Post Oak YMCA (hosted by Shadi Barazi, Sensei) covering kata, kumite and kihon. Use these videos to help you practice and to remember your kata; it's probably not a good idea to try to learn kata from these videos. Please take note that these Karate Shotokan kata are performed in the typical JKA-style way, which is very popular but slightly different from what we practice.
